5:51pm, next to the Morris W Offit bldg on JHU campus, Baltimore, MD

Today I remembered how fatigued and slow I am in the summers. Trying to make myself move faster only causes problems. Today feels more balanced than last Monday. I chose a JHU campus intervention because it is vast and ripe with sites... and close to home. The ground is very textured, not ideal for bare feet. It is also very warm, slowly releasing the heat of the day while the shade grows. There is another site across from this one. It has concrete slab ground, much better for bare feet. But it's not as visually dynamic as the site I chose. The chair was already staged when I arrived. I miss the spring. The breeze today is gentle and warm. Day one hundred eighty-one.
