Alley site. End of the day. End of the week. The resonance of the song "Habibi" by Sevdaliza is ringing in my mind. Casual and momentarily calculated. The odor of trash floats around. Red brick and painted red brick. Circular and full. The edges of the frame are vague so I stay more toward the center of the frame. Feeling theatrical. Conscious of windows. Where am I looking? What's repeating? All of this space lost to private property signs and parking. How do I begin and how do I end? The endings seem to linger. Do I have more to say? Will I come back here again? Thirst. Hunger. Desire. Sheer force of will. Directional flow. A moment. A few minutes. There isn't any more to say. Day two hundred forty-eight.
