DAILY DANCE BLOG

September 30, 2020

4:20pm, Reservoir Street and Brookfield Avenue, Baltimore, MD

On my walk to work, the idea of starting with clenched fists became my prompt for today's dance. A part of me wants to rail on myself for the short and pitiful dance last night. While I was dancing today, I recalled aspects of the last year-long project I did. At a certain point I implemented weekly themes to help pull myself through. Yesterday was the closest I got to skipping a day. The weather and air feels fresh and renewed today. Probably because of the rains last night. I scoped this site last week. I have a few other spots in mind for the coming weeks. Three months left in the year. Three months left of this phase of the project. Its feels like there is forever behind and in front of me. All the more reasons to settle into this moment as much as I can. I think the walk home will be excellent. Day two hundred seventy-four.
