4:59pm, Druid Hill Park near the Susquehannoch Pavilion, Baltimore, MD

Slow low grassy arms and legs. Mid-week and hungry, thirsty and content. Autumn is here, now it is fall. Grass bees, little pink blossoms in a row... there's a hole in the lawn and nobody knows. Lyrical and wild strawberries. The crickets chirp and the highway hums. Halfway here and nowhere near. Summer is fading and today is near completion. Day two hundred sixty.
