There is a constant chatter of birds. They are sitting on a billboard. This is a site of necessity and convenience. I stayed at work later than I planned on. Sitting here, I am seeing parts of the urban landscape from a new perspective. Some birds are chattering while I imagine others are choosing silence. The intersection of day and night, human-made environment and wildlife habitat. Someone is waiting for me to return home. Away I go. Day two hundred fifty-nine.
