DAILY DANCE BLOG

7:07pm, W 41st Street and Buena Vista Avenue, Baltimore, MD

I was on a bike ride with some friends. I passed by several potential sites. We all paused near this one and I decided to stick around and dance. I mentally and physically warmed up with some tunes. I felt really connected to the music and was enjoying the movements I was making. Today was the beginning of Move Move. Our morning workshop was incredible. I tried to bring the trust and patience cultivated in that time into today's daily dance. now that I am back in Baltimore, it's important to me to use my bike in scouting sites more intentionally. I am feeling at home in my body and in my city. The past week and change in DC is still resonating with me and likely will for a while. I've made some decisions but I am not ready to commit them to paper... or at least not in the context of this project. Patience and trust have been percolating within me. I found myself surprised at how in tune I felt with Sifu's voice and words during her workshop this morning. I want that trust and patience to evolve and grow through this work. I have a lot of work to do in many arenas. Day one hundred sixty-five.
