DAILY DANCE BLOG

January 8, 2020

8:33am, The Rotunda at 711 W 40th Street, Baltimore, MD

I’m dancing after working out with my personal trainer. Muscles are already warm and worked. Starting feels consistently awkward. Usually slow until I find a groove. There’s a guy taking down holiday decorations nearby. Another brick wall. Too cold to take off my coat and hat. My movement feels similar to yesterday’s. I guess I’ll keep doing the same thing until something new is born. I feel like there are pauses that stop the flow... I may have gone out of frame too. Is there a need to make something profound? Yes and... What purpose does that serve? Am I here to prove myself? One day at a time yo. When January is done... there will be 11 more months of confusion, boredom, excitement, inspiration, and more. Today was this. Day eight.
