DAILY DANCE BLOG

1:56pm, Falls Road, underneath the Howard Street Bridge, Baltimore, MD

I did the thing where you think you're taking a video but you only took a photo. And then I had a meeting. Briefly, I wondered if I should come back to the site as it would technically violate my rule of dancing in the same location more than once. But... I came back because it felt right. Activating my arms, fully embracing their desire to fly. Responding to traffic through spins and twirls. I can feel many energies around me in this site. Cars above, behind, and next to me. The whole dance was ended when an Amtrak truck pulled into the driveway I was dancing in. There's the constant sound of the river. The air is wet, it's been drizzling/raining on and off today. That's the main reason I chose to dance under the bridge. I felt liberated in this space. Not bound by the confines of the frame although I think I stayed within the entire time. Many of the rocks on the ground were loosely pushed into the earth. My feet running over them was enough from them to be freed. Day fourteen.
