4:53pm, W 28th Street and Sisson Street, Baltimore, MD

An intentional entrance of near catastrophic spirals/circles/spins. I got so dizzy, so quickly. I'm on private property. You can hear train sounds faintly in the background. A familiar sound for me. I'm really feeling limited by my foot wear. The intentional entrance was a bit off the cuff but also... spinning/spiraling/circling is a go to move for me. The ground is uneven and I fell off balance for a good portion of the dance. It's playful and exploratory. I don't feel tied to one spot but the footage could prove otherwise. Combination of brick, graffiti, gravel, and vines. I really want to start changing the perspective of the camera more. Straight on shots get boring after awhile. Are these dances offerings to these spaces? Are they rebellions? Are they prayers? Knowing I've got 355 days left... Space feels both limited and endless. I feel like I might be starting to get comfortable with the project... like comfortable with it feeling weird and me feeling out of place and "wrong" most of the time. Is this how you human? Day ten.
