4:33pm, Calvert Street Park at E 22nd Street and N Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD

You can hear someone dribbling a basketball and kids shouting as they play on a playground. The traffic cone is immediately enticing and I'm drawn towards it. There's a gravity I try to establish with the object. I did a quick walk through for poop... I knew I would be all up in the ground. I would like to do more floor work exploration in the studio. This time of day has been popping up quite a bit. This week brings a new horizon of space, sites, and environments. Going back to work in D.C.. There is still a sensation of the work being unresolved. Perhaps I can let go of that for now. This project is creating space for a kinetic meditation. That is what a lot of this movement is feeling like. I am being present for how I am, how I move, what catches my attention, and I am in the pursuit of a higher plane of movement. Unable to fathom or describe, I know it when I feel it. The layers of this project are slowly accumulating. Day thirty-three.
