DAILY DANCE BLOG

It took me awhile to find today's site. I think I may have found a successful routine to replace my gym routine. It involves me biking away from home, which is an advantage in scouting new dance sites. This could change at any moment but I want to focus on paved lots. I am behind the Waverly branch of the Enoch Pratt library. Today's prompt is RIPPLE. I'm allowing myself to be responsive to the environmental audio. Love the constant singing birds. What is missing from my practice (right now) is a more regular improv (extended). Paved lots feel ideal for this. I'm already pretty warmed up and worked from biking and my new workout routine. Again, just showing up because that's how I find the breakthroughs. Consistently showing up regardless of output and barring any expectations. Day one hundred eight.
