DAILY DANCE BLOG

5:05pm, Bretton Place and Greenmount Avenue, Baltimore, MD

I was/am very low energy. After making it past 25th Street on my usual pathway home, I decided it was worth it to find a dance site before going home. I've often tried to find sites in this neighborhood (Guilford). It's very residential with few sites that feel accessible as public space. I believe this is intentional. I stretched a little bit before dancing and surprised myself with the effort that was released. The brickwork I was dancing on made my footing feel unstable. It almost feels like autumn. Every day feels more like a countdown to the end of the year. Overcast grey and dead leaves. A couple with a stroller walk through the frame as I was dancing. I tried to remember to use longitudinal space as well as latitudinal. I'm ready to go home now. Day two hundred fifty-five.
