DAILY DANCE BLOG

6:08pm, Guilford Avenue and E 26th Street, Baltimore, MD

I do not have the same enthusiasm as yesterday and that is okay. Today is so humid. I feel like a wet rag. I've noticed my starts are soft and not well defined as separate from my entries. At the beginning of this year, I danced across the street from this site. Perhaps another perspective with regard to my site selection could be; Some days I wander far from home. Other days I stick to my usual routes and routines. This project was never about [intentionally] expanding my range of urban exploration. It has facilitated curiosity and exploration. Sometimes we ride the wave and see where it takes us. Questioning the wave doesn't change it's existence. The wave is how it is. I can struggle against it, causing more damage. Or, I can use my experience to shift how I engage the wave. Getting better at riding them as they crest. Today's metaphor of the day is riding the wave. Thank you Sifu. Day two hundred forty-five.
