5:16pm, behind my apartment building, Baltimore, MD

Only feeling slightly better. Stuck with this alley and back of my building until Friday (at least). Been working on a quilt all day. These 5 1/2 minutes of activity feel a bit exhausting. Still in pajamas. The fresh air is a reprieve. This is where I am and what I have to work with. I cannot be upset when I am continuing with this project despite the circumstances. There is a lot of tension in our country as votes continue to tally and we once again are faced with numbers that confirm our country's racism and white supremacy. Day three hundred nine.
