DAILY DANCE BLOG

The opposite end of the day. Post-acupuncture. Hungry but in good spirits. Anticipating another lock down yet feeling hope float at the edges of anxiety. This jean jacket has a history. It was ragged and worn when I inherited it. I've put my touch all over it. The lighting of this site is sickly green and I think I like it. Yesterday and today I just started. Didn't warm up or overthink my approach. It feels right and the dancing has felt right too. Lately I've been reflecting on the book-ending of this year. Started with nannying and ending with nannying. Started with many night dances and will likely end similarly. A year feels surprisingly short in this moment and in context of this project. Maybe just in the context of life, a year is surprisingly short. Day three hundred seventeen.
