12:16pm, Hampden Elementary, W 37th Street and Chestnut Avenue, Baltimore, MD

I came to Hampden to mail a package. I stopped by Mom's to pick up some supplemental food items. This is the first time I've been to the Hampden Elementary playground. Having danced in several wide open spaces, I've begun to crave more spatial limitation. A young child and their parent are also on the playground. Birds are loudly singing, as is the child. "Let's have a party!!!" I derive energy from this child. They are joyful, scooting around on a scooter. Hanging imaginary decorations and proclaiming, "Let's have a party!!!" I am consciously trying to tune into my rhythm, my timing. External forces are clearly shifting me in and out of that natural rhythm. the site I chose could be used again as there is an unseen corridor, hidden from the video vantage point. I chose not to use the long corridor as I've often selected "deep" sites. It's humid and will rain on and off all day. I may not come back outside again today. I am grateful to have gotten out before the evening. Day one hundred forty-nine.
