DAILY DANCE BLOG

3:39pm, Wyman Park at Remington Avenue and Wyman Park Drive, Baltimore, MD

It's gonna rain... gonna head home and reflect there.

Home and sanitized. It feels sooo good to be in nature. I love the lush green "carpet". Entered the frame animalistically. I've been feeling stronger and more flexible in my shoulders. Love the prompt for today, MELT. In my mind, I moved in and out of melty movements. I keep trying to remember to look up and around, not get stuck looking down all of the time. It's roughly 50 degrees out. Almost no one is out. Lots of branches and sticks. At one point I nearly toppled backward while in an accidental/partial handstand. I did not feel "dancey" earlier today. That has been recurring throughout this project. Sometimes it isn't about the dance. It's not easy to reflect after leaving the site. I'm getting lost in thoughts about other projects because I am sitting in my living room which is also my studio. I'm glad I wandered away from home today. I'm not sure what led me to today's site specifically. I did notice several potential sites on my way home. I think it's time to return to sewing. Day ninety-one.
