Today I dedicated 35 minutes to dance warm up. The gyms are closed because of COVID-19. This site is a nice place to dance. Relatively flat, expansive, multiple back drops... close by. LIP SYNC is today's prompt. I don't connect to it necessarily but enjoyed freeing up my mouth and face. I think I often hold a certain look when I dance. Pseudo-neutral. Sometimes that's where tension is leftover. The actual spot I chose was quite confined. I had many moments where the end of my control synced perfectly with environmental entities. The world is quieter, still active but quieter. What is happening? What does a project like this mean when the world as we know it is completely changed inside of a week? I am getting lost in thoughts and feelings about the new world order. This dance felt short but fulfilling. It explored some of my movement gains and pushed my limits. That's where I grow... just outside of my limits. Even though there is constant traffic noises in the background and birds chirping... this is still a quiet site. Day seventy-eight.
