1:18pm, North end of Milton Pond, Milton, VT

This morning started with steady rain. I could have spent all day in the tiny cabin but I decided to get out for a hike. It's low key but very nice to move around in the woods. It's supposed to rain again later today. This site seemed good because then I don't have to worry about/think about this for the rest of the day. I am trying to enjoy this solitude and take advantage of where I am. The sound of the water lapping prompted me in the beginning. I am hungry and not hungry. I am tired and wide awake. I should keep on so I can find food before I head back to the cabin. Day two hundred nine.
