GENTLE. Yesterday was tough. Today is a new day. I have goals and projects and socialization planned for this week. We call today Monday but the days of the week feel meaningless. Today's prompt is GENTLE. I chose it. I need more gentleness. I worked out and did a 10 minute improv before today's dance. The contrast between today and yesterday's sites is striking to me. I continue to try to focus my workouts toward developing mobility and flexibility for dancing improvements. While dancing, I tried to connect to how certain moves felt throughout my body. Where in the body is the work happening and where in the body does it need to happen? This site is between 2 buildings. A fire escape area. The ground is at a slight incline with a few misaligned cracks between the concrete slabs. I can't tell where I am emotionally, the tides seem to endlessly shift and without much warning. I was thinking about something relevant to this project while walking to find the site. Now, it evades me. Day one hundred eleven.
