DAILY DANCE BLOG

6:12pm, Medfield Heights Park, Baltimore, MD

I took my shoes off today! Tried finding another small park in the area but settled for home base here. Literally home base. The sun is out and it feels so good to move and stretch out here. Tonight I shall put CBD salve on my right hip. Still crunchy. I didn't use the prompt response group prompt because it requires props. I want to keep the daily dance props limited to what is in the site when I arrive. I am acutely aware of the movement patterns being used. Dancing with music prior did not inspire me much but it did help to warm me up. Ever since I left my house, my nose has been runny. Stupid allergies. This park is large enough to accommodate several people with appropriate social distancing. Our current world state is encouraging me to be more meditative about time and planning. I wanted to be productive today in my home studio. Slept in and have followed the urge to chill most of the day. This dance pulled me outside, as usual. The sky is blue and clouds are floating in and out of the atmosphere. I feel calm. Another day, another dance. This is the beginning of month four. I felt slightly more risky today. Not trying to confine myself to only graceful movements. I want and need to get sloppy. Lose my balance. Fall over. Push past my boundaries and find pathways to new, broader, more exciting moves. Day ninety-three.
