Not sure if I climaxed but today's prompt is CLIMAX. I have a lot of sewing to do. I feel less critical of doing my videos toward the early evenings. Not the end of my day but a good time to pause and reconnect with myself before diving back into sewing. I've been thinking about routine, on and off since I started staying home. How much of my routine is used to acclimate me to capitalist time? The site stood out immediately. Gorgeous back lighting. I wandered in a general direction and then BAM! I was here. How was this dancing a climax? I thought about speed and repetition. I tried to connect to the flow of energy that pulses through my body, ride it like a wave. This tree is at peak spring blossoming. Peak, blossom, climax. Pinnacle, apex, top. Ending the dances have felt lackluster. I melt back into the site and regain my non-performative body language. Sometimes I try to pull myself back into the dance... almost a form of performative edging. I miss dancing in a studio... maybe I need a dance park adventure after I finish all these masks. Maybe I need a bath too. Day one hundred two.
